Arsenal‘s website has confirmed a new contract with Egyptian midfielder Elneny. It’s official But the term of the new contract was not disclose. Elneny is one of three players who are out of contract with Arsenal, alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah. And the 29-year-old midfielder will now Continue playing with the Gunners in the 2022-23 season for sure.

“I love this club. And I feel like I’m part of this family.”

“I want to continue at this amazing club and amazing family. I am very happy And very excited for the future that awaits,” Elneny said on the club’s website.

Elneny has played a defensive midfield role in Mikel Arteta’s side this season, making 17 appearances in all competitions. He has started 11 games and made six substitute appearances, making 147 appearances for the Gunners since joining from Basel in January 2016.

The former Basel star joined the club back in January 2015 and has since featured for the Gunners 147 times, notching five goals and ten assists in the process. Despite barely featuring in the first half of the season, Elneny proved to be one of Mikel Arteta’s most consistent performers during the final stretches of the campaign, starting the final seven Premier League fixtures following Thomas Partey’s thigh injury.

Elneny’s new deal means that strikers Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette are now the only two first-team players ufabet that have contracts set to expire at the end of June. Like the Egyptian, Nketiah featured prominently during the final months of the 2021/22 campaign. Netting five league goals in just eight starts.
